Garnett started selling his art in Grateful Dead parking lots at age 15. At college Garnett chased around and ultimately worked for 50 bands and production companies, doing cd cover illustrations, posters, backstage passes, mailers and flyers for the burgeoning jam band scene. After graduating from St. Lawrence University Garnett migrated to the easel as fast as he could teach himself to paint and sell his paintings, but he has maintained lifetime friends with professional musicians and music industry professionals. These are a few examples of hundreds of early works from the archives.
